SANTA CRUZ, Laguna – Two men crossing the national highway were killed by a speeding pick-up truck
before dawn in Barangay Bubukal here on Tuesday, November 7.
Police identified the victims as Lesly Layin Barrios and Glenford Asmeralde.
The victims who had just left an eatery died on the spot and were taken to a funeral home for post-mortem procedures.
The driver of the vehicle is facing a case of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide.
In Cabuyao City, Laguna, a woman was found dead, half-naked and her face smothered with a pillow in her residence in Barangay Uno on Tuesday morning.
Police identified the victim as Alicia Tebermejo.
The victim was discovered lifeless by the victim’s sister after she failed to respond to her calls and her house was in disarray.
Lawmen are conducting follow-up investigation and determining if the victim was raped.
In Sariaya, Quezon, a 29-year-old man reported missing last week was found dead in Barangay Manggalang Tulo-tulo on Tuesday afternoon.
Police identified the victim as Jerick Dinglasan, crew, and a resident Barangay Manggalang Tulo-tulo.
Dinglasan, whose body was in an advanced state of decomposition when found, was last seen alive in his house on November 4.
