Bulacan cops nab 18 law violators in anti-crime ops


Ten alleged drug peddlers, five wanted persons, and three law offenders were arrested by the Bulacan police in a series of anti-criminality operations  on Tuesday, Nov. 7.   

According to the reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, separate buy-bust operations were  conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the cities of San Jose Del Monte and Meycauayan, and Angat, Pandi, Plaridel, and Obando police in their respective areas of responsibility. 

Seized during the operations were 36 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a standard drug price (SDP) of P65,571; assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money. 

The arrested drug suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU).

Criminal complaints for violations of Republic Act  9165 against the suspect are now being prepared for filing in court. 

Meanwhile, the tracker team of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, Norzagaray, San Jose Del Monte, Calumpit, and Balagtas City Police Station also arrested five wanted persons.

They were identified as Jocelyn Chavaria for light threats (RPC ART. 285) at Sitio Hulo, Brgy. Caysio Sta. Maria, Bulacan; Rolly Berces for attempted homicide in Brgy. Minuyan, Norzagaray Bulacan; Dexter Belleza for violence against women and children (RA 9262) in Brgy. San Rafael V, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan; Rusco Visnar Madla for violation of bouncing check Law (BP 22) in Brgy. Balungao, Calumpit Bulacan; and Ogie Polintan for reckless imprudence resulting in less serious physical injuries and damage to property in Brgy. Santol, Balagtas, Bulacan.

Authorities in Marilao and Baliwag City responded to different crime incidents that led to the arrest of three felons identified as alias "Waldo" and alias "Anko" for robbery in 168, San Lucas St., Rio Vista Subdivision, Sabang, Baliwag City, Bulacan; and alias "Anthony" for theft in Looban I, Brgy. Loma de Gato, Marilao, Bulacan.
