Scattered rains to persist over parts of Luzon, Visayas due to easterlies
The easterlies may bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to parts of Luzon and Visayas, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

PAGASA warned of flash floods or landslides that may occur during moderate to heavy rains in Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Surigao del Norte, Dinagat Islands, and Quezon.
Easterlies are warm and humid winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon or amihan may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains to Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA also warned the public of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. (Lizst Torres Abello)
