P3.4-M shabu seized from 4 drug pushers

SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga – A big-time drug pusher and his three cohorts were arrested and P3.4 million shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pampanga in Dasmarinas City, Cavite on Tuesday, November 7.

The PDEA-Pampanga identified the suspects as Hedwig Ramos, alias “Jake,” 40, of Barangay San Nicolas, Lubao, this province; Ryan N. Comerciante, of Santa Maria, Bulacan; Mark Angelo Marasigan, from Biñan City, Laguna; and Lester Ramos of Pasay City.

The PDEA said Ramos was involved in the bulk distribution of shabu here and this province.

"We were able to secure a drug deal with Ramos for the purchase of 500 grams of shabu and agreed to meet in San Fernando, Pampanga. When we reached the meet up place in Pampanga, Ramos called and instructed the undercover agent to meet him in a mall parking lot in Dasmariñas City until their arrest," the PDEA-Pampanga team leader said.

Recovered from the suspects were five knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing more or less 500 grams of suspected shabu valued at P3.4 million and the buy-bust money.

Assisting PDEA-Pampanga was PDEA-Calabarzon.

Suspects face drug-related charges.
