President Marcos will embark on a three-city trip in the United States next week as part of his participation in the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders' Summit and working visits in Los Angeles and Hawaii.

Marcos will attend the APEC Summit in San Francisco from Nov. 15 to 17, and will travel to Los Angeles and Honolulu in the next days.
One of the highlights of his second trip to the US this year will be his visit to the US Indo-Pacific Command in Hawaii.
According to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Undersecretary Charles Jose, the President will push national key agendas during his participation in the summit such as clean energy, healthcare system, digital transformation, food security, and climate change.
Jose stressed that the President's participation in the summit "reflects the importance of cooperation and of our involvement in the APEC agenda to pursue our economic interests."
"For this year, the President is keen to push for financing a just, sustainable and affordable energy transition through partnerships with the business sector. He will emphasize the need to invest more on clean energy to preserve and protect the environment while ensuring that we are energy secure and sufficient," Jose said in a Palace briefing on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
The President would also push for deeper cooperation in health and modernizing health systems and to ensure that Filipino health professionals are recognized and provided with the welfare they deserve.
The DFA official further said that Marcos will also touch on digitalization and innovation and the digital participation of micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
The Chief Executive is also expected to continue to push for cooperation in food security particularly focusing on research and development, innovation, and equity and inclusivity to benefit small farmers and the urgent need to be resilient to climate change.
Jose also disclosed that Marcos might have bilateral meetings with other leaders "but as the schedules and logistical consideration keep evolving, we are not able to confirm any at this point."
Marcos will also lead a Philippine economic briefing and meetings with top US companies.
He will also be meeting with Filipino communities in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Honolulu.
Marcos's first trip to the US this year was in Washington D.C. in May for an official visit. He also traveled to the country last year for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) held in New York.
