HD Spikers down Highrisers for fourth win

Four players scored in double figures for the HD Spikers with skipper Ces Molina firing 17 points and Vanie Gandler pouring all her 14 points on attacks.

Jovelyn Gonzaga also came through with 12 points while Roselyn Doria added 11 points as Cignal uncorked 59 kills against Galeries Tower’s 39.

The victory improved the HD Spikers at 4-2 in the middle standings while handing the Highrisers their fifth straight defeat in as many outings.

Ysabel Jimenez led Galeries Tower with combined 25 points, but it was not enough to douse the fire of Cignal despite stumbling in the third set.
