Bohol cites UP grad for placing second in Geodetic licensure exam


CEBU CITY – A University of the Philippines-Diliman graduate from Bohol made it to the Top 10 in the recent Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination.

Gov. Aris Aumentado commended the achievement of Genny Marie Ceruela Geñoso, a native of Maribojoc.

Geñoso was second in the exam with a 89.40 percent rating.

The examination was held last October with 644 out of 1,377 examinees hurdling the exam.

“The province of Bohol extends its warmest congratulations to our Boholana topnotcher. Her achievement is an honor for every Bol-anon and we are hoping that her feat will serve as an inspiration to every Bol-anon,” Aumentado said.

Meanwhile, a graduate of a Bohol-based university also excelled in a separate licensure examination.

Chris Alfred Yntong was sixth in the October 2023 Licensure Examination for Fisheries Professionals with a 85.25 percent rating.

Yntong, a native of Siquijor, graduated from the Bohol Island State University-Candijay Campus.

He was one of the 716 out of 2,124 examinees who passed the examination.
