10 families affected in Alabang fire


A fire razed six houses in Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa on Nov. 7, affecting 10 families. 

In a report by the Muntinlupa City Fire Station headed by Fire Supt. Jeffrey Atienza, the fire started at about 7:28 a.m. at 7A Ilaya in Alabang.

Firefighters raised the first alarm at 7:34 a.m. followed by a second alarm at 7:45 a.m. 

The fire damaged P117,600 worth of properties and affected 10 families or about 30 individuals. 

No one was injured in the fire, which was put out at 8:25 a.m. 

According to the report, the fire originated from the second floor of the house of Marilyn Esmundo. The cause of the fire is under investigation. 

A total of 19 fire trucks and four ambulances responded to the incident.
