CEBU CITY – A suspected drug pusher was arrested and shabu valued at P3.7 million was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Lamac, Consolacion town, northern Cebu on Sunday afternoon, November 5.

The suspect was identified as Philip Llaguno, 41, a high-value individual.
Llaguno was arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement-Agency (PDEA)-Cebu Provincial Office and the Consolacion police and recovered from him were 550 grams of suspected shabu worth P3.7 million, said Leia Alcantara, PDEA-Central Visayas information officer.
Alcantara said Llaguno was arrested for drug charges in 2009 and the suspect allegedly went back to selling illegal drugs when he was released from jail.
Based on a month-long case build-up, the suspect was capable of selling two kilos of shabu a week, said Alcantara.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act 2002 will be filed against the suspect, said Alcantara.
