Family of OFW slain by Hamas to get continuing assistance from Israel — envoy
The family of one of the Filipinos killed during Hamas' attack on Israel will be receiving continuing assistance from the Israeli government, the Israeli Embassy in Manila said Monday, Nov. 6.
This was announced as Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss and Consul Moti Cohen welcomed her remains at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Fluss expressed his sympathy to Cabrera's family.

"At the same time, I would like to thank her for dedicating her life (in) serving and protecting her Israeli employer. Israelis consider all the OFWs who were murdered by Hamas as heroes. They are now forever part of our family," he said.
Cabrera was among the 1,400 individuals who were killed by Hamas when its militants attacked Israel on Oct. 7.
Fluss gave assurance that the Israeli government will bring back the 240 individuals who were taken hostage by Hamas and "will make sure that the Hamas terrorists cannot do such atrocities again in the future."
"We will protect Israelis and Filipinos alike," Fluss said.
