Parañaque mayor administers oath to 256 newly-elected barangay, SK officials

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez led the mass oathtaking of 256 newly elected village and Sangguniang Kabataan officials on Monday, Nov. 6.

The mass oathtaking of newly elected village and Sangguniang Kabataan officials from 16 barangays in Districts 1 and 2 was held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex.

Olivarez extended his congratulations to the winning candidates and assured them of full support from the city government.

He urged them to help uplift the lives of city residents through various programs, projects, and services.

Olivarez said two of the wining village officials, his sister, Eva Olivarez, of Barangay San Dionisio, and Mar Jimenez, of Barangay Don Bosco and the former Public Information Office chief of Representative Edwin Olivarez, already took their oath of office on Oct. 31 at the Mayor’s Office.

The winning village chairmen for District I were: June Zaide of Baclaran; Marilyn Burgos, of Don Galo; P.A. Velaso of La Huerta, Eva Olivarez of San Dionisio, Noel Japlos of San Isidro; Johnny Co, of Sto. Nino, Jenn Quizon of Tambo, and Alexander Alvarez of Vitalez.

The winning candidates for District II Barangays were: Jeremy Marquez, BF Homes; Mar Jimenez, Don Bosco; Ian Aguilar of Marcelo Green; AD Bernabe of Merville; Doc Jem Qui of Moonwalk, Kapitan Pol Casale of San Antonio; Thelma Singson of San Martin de Porres, and Chaky Coryez of Sun Valley.
