4 dead in Antipolo road mishap

Four young men died after their car crashed into a wingvan truck along Marcos Highway in Barangay Mayamot, Antipolo, Rizal early Monday morning, Nov. 6.

According to the police, the four victims, identified as Juanito Magsino, 22; Kidrock John Magsino, 21; Lawrence Ivan Jose, 21; and Ireneo Balmonte, 22, were riding a black Honda Civic being driven by Magsino. Witnesses said the sedan was speeding before hitting the Isuzu Wingvan Truck being driven by Glen Gumban.

Due to the speed and force of the impact, almost half of the sedan was crushed and went under the rear of the truck. Gumban was unharmed in the crash.

An investigation into the accident is still being conducted.
