PLDT blasts Gerflor for fourth straight win

PLDT hardly broke a sweat against the lowly Gerflor and scored a 25-8, 25-9, 25-17 win in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Second All-Filipino Conference on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

The High Speed Hitters rolled to their fourth consecutive win and climbed 4-1 in the standings.

Jules Samonte and Rachel Austero led all scorers to finish with 10 points apiece.

It only took an hour and 11 minutes for PLDT to keep Gerflor winless in five games.

Despite the Defenders’ efforts to fight their way back from two sets down, any attempts just went nowhere.

No Defender even reached double figures, with Jeanette Villareal, Mary Berte and Danika Gendrauli all scoring just four points each.
