MPD seizes P800K 'shabu', arrests 2 female drug suspects in San Miguel, Manila

The Manila Police District (MPD) reported on Saturday, Nov. 4, the confiscation of over P816,000 worth of illegal drugs from two female suspects in a buy-bust operation in San Miguel, Manila on Nov. 2.
 
The MPD-Barbosa Police Station (PS-14) identified the suspects as Jocel Jean Araoni, a resident of Port Area, Manila, and Jessica Tomiño, 39, a resident of Tondo, Manila.
 
A buy-bust operation was conducted by PS-4 in Barangay 646 in San Miguel, Manila, around 10:30 p.m., which resulted in the suspects' arrest.
 
Police confiscated from the suspects 120 grams of suspected shabu and P1,000 cash used as buy-bust money.
 
Arrested suspects were detained at PS-14 and will face charges for violations of Sec. 5 and 11 Art. II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
