Electric distribution utility Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) announced power interruptions in Batangas, Caloocan, Cavite, Laguna, Manila, Muntinlupa, and Pasay.
In a post made by the electric company, the seven cities and province will start their maintenance schedule on Monday, Nov. 6 to Wednesday, Nov. 8.
Line maintenance, pole replacement, line conversion and other reconstruction works were the cause of the interruptions, according to Meralco.

Most maintenance works are said to be done during off-peak hours, except for Batangas and Laguna, which were scheduled during the mornings from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
