The Iloilo City Police Office, Police Regional Office (PRO)-6, and the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) nabbed the suspects in a rented house in Barangay Balantang, Jaro District.

“The Chinese are allegedly engaged in cybersex, possible fraud, and love scam,” said Police Lt. Col. Antonio Benitez Jr., chief of ICPO-City Intelligence Unit.

Benitez said Police Col. Joeresty Coronica, ICPO chief, ordered the joint operation after police received reliable information about the suspects' operations.

They were allegedly recording nude videos and selling them as pornography online.

“They also get female models to do live video in case a client asks for it,” Benitez added.

Recovered from the suspects were 28 computers, WiFi routers, video projectors, Subscriber Identification Module cards, mobile phones, and other audio-visual recording devices.

Suspects face charges for violating Section 4C-1 of Republic Act No. 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
