East zone concessionaire Manila Water Co. announced water interruptions in 16 barangays within Makati, Quezon City, and Taytay, Rizal.
According to the water utility, a city-wide interconnection activity in Makati will cause little to no water pressure during the late evening to early morning.
Meanwhile, other affected areas within the eastern Metro Manila will experience line maintenance starting Monday, Nov. 6.
The affected barangays and their schedule are as follows:
Nov. 6 to 7
- 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM
- Quezon City – Brgys. Central and Project 6
- 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM
- Taytay, Rizal – Brgy. Sta. Ana (Ynarez Ave.)
Nov. 7 to 8
- 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM
- Quezon City – Brgys. Pinyahan, Bagong Pag-asa, Vasra
- 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Makati City – Brgys. Santa Cruz, La Paz, San Antonio, Pio Del Pilar, Singakamas, Tejeros, San Lorenzo, Bel-Air, and Poblacion.
Residents within these areas are urged to start saving up their water supply to minimize the inconvenience.
After the maintenance, Manila Water also advised households to conduct flushing to allow the water to clear up. (Gabriell Christel Galang)
