Report: 4 BTS members to enlist in second week of December: On track to regroup in 2025
Four members of K-pop idol group BTS will be enlisting over a two-day period in the second week of December, according to a report.
Korean media outlet Star News published an exclusive report on Nov. 29 stating that BTS members RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook will be enlisting as active duty soldiers.

RM and V will enter the army training center on Dec. 11 followed by Jimin and Jungkook entering the same training camp on Dec. 12.
The four will serve as active duty soldiers for 18 months after completing the training and being deployed to their units in the army.
Responding to the report, Big Hit Music told Korean media, "The members' enlistment schedule and location cannot be confirmed."
Recently, Jungkook announced that he would be enlisting in the military in December.
In a post on the Weverse app, Jungkook said, "I am beginning a new journey in December and will be temporarily leaving your side to fulfill my military duty. A part of my heart feels heavy to share this news, while another part of my heart warms to think back on the precious memories I had with ARMY," the Korea JoongAng Daily reported.
If RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will enlist together in the second week of December, they will be discharged in June 2025.
This means that BTS members are on track to achieve their goal to regroup in 2025.
RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are the remaining members of BTS who have not started their military service.
Jin, the oldest member, enlisted on Dec. 13, 2022 and will be discharged on June 12, 2024. J-Hope started his service on April 18 this year and will be discharged on Oct. 17, 2024.
Suga enlisted on Sept. 22 this year and will serve for 21 months as a social worker or public duty personnel, an alternative form of military service. He will be discharged on June 21, 2025.
