P2.3-M shabu seized in Iloilo City

ILOILO CITY – Police seized suspected shabu worth P2.3 million from four suspected drug pushers in two separate operations in this city on Wednesday, November 29.

The Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU) of the Police Regional Office-6 and the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) confiscated a total of 345 grams of shabu in La Paz and Molo Districts.

The buy-bust operation in Molo District yielded 225 grams of shabu valued at P1.5 million from suspects Borgo and Je-R. On the other hand, 120 grams of shabu worth P816,000 were confiscated from Rocky and Toto in La Paz District.

The PRO-6 lauded the two successful operations. "Napigilan na naman po natin ang paglaganap pa ng humigit-kumulang 345 na gramo ng shabu sa komunidad na magiging dahilan na naman sana ng pagkasira ng maraming buhay. Ipagpatuloy lamang po natin ang pagtutulungan para sa mas ligtas at payapang buhay," said Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, PRO-6 director.
