Most of PH may still experience rain showers due to 'amihan', easterlies
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday morning, Nov. 30 said the northeast monsoon and easterlies will still be the dominant weather systems in the country.

Weather specialist Patrick Del Mundo said PAGASA is still not expecting a low pressure area that may affect the country in the next five days.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” may continue to bring cloudy skies with rains to Apayao, Batanes, and Cagayan, including Babuyan Islands.
It warned of the possibility of flash floods or landslides in these areas due to moderate to heavy rains.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light amihan rains may also affect Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms and the easterlies, or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.
The public is also warned about the dangers of flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
