Mayor Honey, VM Yul inspect 870,000 Christmas boxes for Manileños
Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan, together with Manila Vice Mayor John Marvin Yul Servo-Nieto, inspected a total of 870,000 Christmas boxes to be given to the city's senior citizens and the city's residents.

A total of 695,000 Christmas food boxes were inspected at the San Andres Sports Complex in Malate, Manila, on Thursday morning, Nov. 30.
Meanwhile, a total of 175,000 Christmas gift boxes will be given to the city's senior citizens, as the mayor also inspected the boxes at the Universidad de Manila (UDM) in Ermita, Manila.
The food boxes contain spaghetti packs, fruit cocktails, rice, all-purpose cream, canned goods, and cheese.
The gift boxes for senior citizens contain low sugar wafer rolls and a thermo insulated food container set.
Lacuna-Pangan said on Nov. 24 that they will start the distribution of the Christmas food boxes to all residents from Dec. 1 until Dec. 12.
She assured all families in the city that they would receive the Christmas box, as she wanted no family in the city to go hungry on Christmas day.
A media forum with Lacuna-Pangan will also be conducted, where she will discuss "Pasko sa Maynila" as the city's program for the Christmas season.
