Andres Bonifacio: A testament to just resistance against 'abusive' gov't
Youth group Anakbayan said the youth should make Andres Bonifacio an example in fighting against "colonial and feudal society."

On Thursday, Nov. 30, Anakbayan and other multisectoral groups gathered in a protest on Bonifacio Day to prove that resisting imperialism, capitalism, and feudalism is "justifiable."
“Si Andres Bonifacio ay patunay na makatuwiran ang pagtangan ng armas sa harap na mapansamantala na estado (Andres Bonifacio is a proof that it is justifiable to carry arms in front of abusive state)," said the group.
"Mamamayan natin ang pinapahirapan at pinapatay, at ito ang dahilan bakit umalsa ang KKK noong panahon ng mga Español, ang Kabataang Makabayan noong panahon ni Marcos Sr at ngayon naman ang Anakbayan! (It is our people who are abused and killed, and this is the reason why the KKK fought back during Spanish colonization, the Kabataang Makabayan in Marcos Sr. regime and now the Anakbayan)," it added.
Anakbayan also emphasized that even though the government is against the "people who take up arms," it said that it still cannot be denied that many Filipinos do not have any choice except to fight back in their sufferings.
