CITY of San Fernando, Pampanga/BAGUIO CITY – All Saints' Day and All Souls' Days in Central Luzon and the Cordillera region were generally peaceful, police said Thursday.
Police Regional Office-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said no major incidents were reported in the Central Luzon.
Hidalgo said 4,000 police officers were deployed to secure people and man traffic in cemeteries in Central Luzon and police assistance centers and hubs on major thoroughfares, particularly in the ingress and egress points of the three major expressways – the North Luzon Expressway, Subic-Clark Tarlac Expressway, and Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway.

Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., Police Regional Office-Cordillera chief, commended the men and women of the PRO-Cordillera for ensuring a safe, orderly, and peaceful “Undas” in the region.
Peredo said no untoward incidents were reported in their areas of responsibility.
The peaceful observance of Undas in the region was also attributed to the cooperation of the public and the help of the force multipliers and other government agencies manning police assistance desks in major thoroughfares and cemeteries.
