Illegal drugs seized, 10 lawbreakers arrested in Bulacan
Bulacan police seized P79,000 worth of alleged illegal drugs during a series of anti-criminality operations carried out on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 2 and 3, which also resulted in the arrest of seven drug suspects and three lawbreakers.
In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the successful drug sting operation took place in Sitio Lipana, Brgy. Parulan, Plaridel, Bulacan.
Approximately five grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug price (SDP) of about P34,000 was confiscated along with the marked money from a 59-year-old female vendor who was included on the drug watchlist.
Anti-illegal drug operatives of the Malolos City police also arrested three alleged drug dealers in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Look 1st, Malolos City. Authorities confiscated eigh sachets of suspected shabu worth P20,400; drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.
A series of drug buy-bust operations was conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Guiguinto, San Miguel, and Pulilan police stations.
These operations led to the arrest of three drug suspects and the confiscation of an additional P25,300 worth of suspected shabu and marked money.
The arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU).
Criminal charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 have been prepared against the suspects for filing in court.
Tracker teams of the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) and Pulilan police apprehended felons wanted for various crimes and offenses by virtue of warrants issued by the local courts.
The arrested suspects are now in the custody of the arresting police units or stations.
