MMDA announces road closures in Manila for Supreme Court Sportsfest on Nov. 5

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Friday, Nov. 3, that some roads in Manila will be closed on Sunday, Nov. 5, for the 2023 Supreme Court Sportsfest.

A fun run will be conducted on Sunday for the sportsfest along Padre Faura Street and the northbound lane of Roxas Boulevard.

The road closures will be implemented from 4:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. along Roxas Boulevard northbound laned from Padre Faura Street to Pablo Ocampo Street.

The following corners of Padre Faura Street in Ermita are also included in the road closure:

  • Taft Avenue
  • Maria Orosa Street
  • Bocobo Street
  • Adriatico Street
  • Mabini Street
  • Marcelo H. Del Pilar
  • Leon Guerrero Street, and
  • Roxas Boulevard service road

     

It advised the motorists to take alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.
