Cloudy skies, rains to prevail over parts of PH due to 'amihan', easterlies
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 29 said the northeast monsoon and the easterlies may still bring rains across parts of the country in the next 24 hours.

In its 4 p.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains caused by the northeast monsoon, locally known as “amihan.”
PAGASA issued a warning to the public about the potential dangers of landslides and flash floods caused by occasional moderate to heavy rainfall.
In Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region, cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be felt due to the easterlies, or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
The public is urged to be cautious of flash floods and landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Weather specialist Benison Estareja also noted that PAGASA is not expecting a low pressure area that may affect the country until the end of the week.
