'Amihan', easterlies to still bring rains over parts of PH
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Wednesday morning, Nov. 29 that rains may still occur in some areas of the country due to the northeast monsoon and easterlies.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said cloudy skies with rains may affect Batanes and Babuyan Islands caused by the northeast monsoon, or “amihan.”
It warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to heavy rains.
PAGASA also said the easterlies, or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, will prevail over mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region
These areas may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
PAGASA also warned the public of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will be experienced due to localized thunderstorms.
Weather specialist Grace Castañeda said PAGASA has not monitored any weather disturbance that may affect the country as of Wednesday.
She added that the amihan may “weaken” in the next three days.
"In the next three days, posibleng humina 'yung northeast monsoon kung saan malaking bahagi ng ating bansa ay makararanas ng bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan (In the next three days, the northeast monsoon may weaken and huge parts of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies)," Castañeda said.
