Matteo Guidicelli picks possible names for his first baby with Sarah Geronimo

"Penduko" doing well at the tills in the coming Metro Manila Film Festival is Matteo Guidicelli's Christmas wish for 2023. 

But when asked about his wish for the near future, the Viva artist doesn't hesitate to answer "a baby!" with his wife, pop royalty Sarah Geronimo.

"I guess for 2024 and in the future, sana magka-baby na kami. In God's time!" Matteo said during a pocket media conference promoting "Penduko," which will be shown starting Dec. 25.

The actor even joked the baby could be named Petra if it's a girl or Penduko if it's a boy.

"Whatever happens, happens. I pag-pray natin yan,"  Matteo stated. " At the end of the day, my priority is my wife and my family. That's part of the plan. But you can't plan too hard because God gives us these blessings. So we hope for the best and do what we must."

Matteo and Sarah just concluded a trip to Italy and Spain. They got married in 2020 after being in a relationship for seven years.

Matteo also dropped hints that a movie with Sarah is in the works. If that happens, it will be a joint venture between Viva Films and their own G Productions. He revealed they are scouting for good material to make the team-up happen.

"It really depends on Boss Vic (del Rosario), with Sarah and the whole team. Sarah is very particular in all the projects that she does. She believes in representing Filipino content and Filipino artists. You can see it in her music. It's all OPM and original. I'm sure we will find something interesting," Matteo bared. 

The couple's first and only movie together was "Catch Me, I'm in Love" (2011) but Sarah's leading man then was Gerald Anderson. During this time, Matteo admitted that Sarah was already his "crush."
