Two hundred-ninety-six Police Regional Office-13 officers completed their Public Safety Field Training Program (PSFTP) at the Regional Special Training Unit-13 in Santiago town, Agusan del Norte province on Tuesday, November 28.

They have completed 1,480 hours of training since the PSFTP started last May 27.
PRO-13 deputy regional director for administration Police Col. Eleazar P. Mata was the guest of honor and speaker during the closing ceremony on Tuesday.
“Public safety is our primordial task in serving the people,” Mata said.
Police Patrolwoman Vanessa Y. Querol topped the program with an overall rating of 91.41 percent, followed by Police Patrolwoman Jhamaica S. Cabardo with 89.95 percent, and Police Patrolwoman Rica Pia A. Edar with 89.75 percent.
Class president Police Patrolwoman Angenette A. Sembrano received the leadership award.
The graduates composed of 217 police patrolmen and 79 patrolwomen were turned over to the Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Section pending the schedule of their Basic Internal Security Operation Course (BISOC), a specialized training designed to develop their personal effectiveness and capability in handling Internal Security Operations (ISO).
PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft commended these new PSFTP graduates.
"Continue to live up to the values, knowledge, and skills that you have acquired as you proceed to the next phase of your journey in the police service,” he said.
“Amidst the difficulties you may experience along the way, seek the Lord's guidance and provision."
