16 nabbed, P258,000 shabu seized in Bulacan


At least nine drug suspects and seven wanted men were arrested during the intensified police operations conducted by the Bulacan police on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 28 and 29.

In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, a successful drug sting operation by the San Miguel police took place in Barangay Salangan, San Miguel, Bulacan. 

Approximately 25 grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug price (SDP) of about P170,000 along with marked money, were confiscated. 

The operation led to the  arrest of a 21-year-old male suspect from Sta. Ana, Manila, who wa sncluded in the Philippine National Police - Philippine Drig Enforcement Agency (PNP-PDEA) drug watchlist.

More drug buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Pandi, Pulilan, San Miguel, Plaridel, and Angat police.

These operations led to the arrest of eight more drug suspects and the confiscation of an additional P88,000 worth of suspected shabu and marked money.

The arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. Criminal complaints for violations of Republic Act 9165 have been prepared against the suspects for filing in court.

Tracker teams of Norzagaray, Bocaue, City of San Jose Del Monte, San Miguel, and Sta. Maria police apprehended seven felons who were wanted for various crimes and offenses, based on warrants issued by the court. 

The arrested individuals have been remanded to the arresting unit or station.
