This year, the Taal Vista Hotel, a historic hotel destination in Tagaytay, invites the public to celebrate the Christmas season with a sumptuous feast, and cool and scenic ambiance, where “Where Christmas Feels Like Home.”

To kick off the holiday celebration, Taal Vista Hotel recently celebrated the holidays with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting event. This year’s outdoor Christmas tree was handmade and created by Pampanga craftsmen. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony was led by Elizabeth Sy, President of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation; Peggy Angeles, Executive Vice President of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation; and Ramon Makilan, General Manager of Taal Vista Hotel. A ceremonial gift-giving for the children of Augustinian Sisters Servants of Jesus and Mary, beneficiaries of the celebration, followed immediately after.

Guests were then treated to a Christmas Concert featuring music artists
Imusicapella Choir, soloist Jasmine Fitzgerald, vocalist Brian Cimafranca, and pianist Jon Joe Ayala Mercado. Soulful renditions of choice songs and merry Christmas carols filled the ballrooms which were elegantly adorned with holiday lights and fresh flower centerpieces by Julius Villamante of Amante Fleurs. The musical treat was truly enjoyed by the audience thanks to Artuz who provided professional lights and sounds for the event.

This was followed by another treat that satiated the guests with a delicious and well-curated, six-course traceable dinner created by Executive Chef Jayme Natividad and his team. The guests feasted on special dishes that made use of locally-sourced items such as Etag, an Ilocano and Cordilleran preserved meat, potatoes from Benguet, tuna from General Santos, tea from Tsaa Laya, wagyu from Bukidnon. Each course was carefully paired with elegant wines from the Titania Wine Cellar.
This Christmas season, Taal Vista Hotel promises guests a memorable holiday that feels just like home.
