Parts of PH may experience rains due to 'amihan', easterlies
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Tuesday, Nov. 28 said the northeast monsoon will continue to affect parts of Northern Luzon, while the easterlies will prevail in the eastern portions of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

PAGASA warned the public in Batanes, Cagayan, and Isabela of possible flash floods or landslides due to occasional moderate to heavy rains brought by the northeast monsoon, locally known as “amihan.”
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley may also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the amihan, it said.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said the easterlies, or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA also warned of flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
