The parade was led by Mandaluyong City Mayor Ben Abalos and Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos together with other city government and barangay officials.

The annual fluvial parade, which is a part of the celebration, passes through Barangays Mabini, J. Rizal, Namayan, Vergara, Hulo, Barangka Ibaba, Barangka Ilaya, and Buayang Bato. These barangays are some of the very first communities located along Pasig River established even before the area was named Mandaluyong)," the city government said.

After the fluvial parade, which also supports President Marcos Jr.'s "Pasig Bigyang Muli" program, the city officials went to Barangay Buayang Bato and led the ceremonial painting of houses located along Pasig River.
