Man wanted in Muntinlupa for illegal drugs arrested in Pasay City

A man wanted for drug possession in Muntinlupa City was arrested by members of the Pasay City police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Nov. 26.

The city police chief, Col. Mario Mayames, said the suspect, identified as alias “Kano,” was arrested at around 4:40 p.m. along Arnaiz Avenue, Barangay 127, Pasay city.

Mayames said Kano was arrested during the conduct of operation against wanted persons by members of the WSS.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for illegal drug possession issued by Judge Gener M. Gito of Muntinlupa City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 206 with a recommended bail of P 200,000.

The suspect is now under the custody of the Muntinlupa city police and will face legal proceedings.

Mayames emphasized the importance of community vigilance and cooperation in maintaining safety and security.
