Lagusnilad underpass to reopen Nov. 28 after 6-month rehabilitation

The Lagusnilad underpass in Manila will finally reopen to motorists on Tuesday, Nov. 28, after a six-moth rehabilitation period.
The rehabilitation of the major passage started on May 2.
The Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) initially announced that it was targeting the completion of the rehabilitation project in September, but it was extended due to delays in the construction of chambers by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan gave the DPWH until Nov. 30 to finish the rehabilitation.
She also vowed to ensure the completion of the project before December.
Lagusnilad underpass will reopen on Tuesday after a program by the local government at 8:30 a.m.
