BACOLOD CITY – A suspected drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok Lirio, Barangay Antipolo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental on Sunday, November 26.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental identified the suspect as Agusto Hoquire, a target-listed drug personality in Western Visayas.
PDEA and Pontevedra police seized 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 from the suspect.
Charges for violation of Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (illegal possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against the suspect.
