Drug pusher yields P102,000 shabu seized in Negros

BACOLOD CITY â€“ A suspected drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok Lirio, Barangay Antipolo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental on Sunday, November 26.

AUTHORITIES arrested an alleged drug pusher and seized P102,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Antipolo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental on Sunday, November 26. (Photo courtesy of PDEA-Western Visayas)

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental identified the suspect as Agusto Hoquire, a target-listed drug personality in Western Visayas.

PDEA and Pontevedra police seized 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 from the suspect.

Charges for violation of Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 11 (illegal possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against the suspect.
