VP Sara urges unity in Pangasinan visit


BINALONAN, Pangasinan – Vice President Sara Duterte called on the people of Pangasinan on November 25 to unite and support the government for the country’s progress.

"Hinihingi ko po ang inyong suporta sa gobyerno. Hinihiling na ibigay ang buong suporta sa mga bagong halal na barangay officials, para sa tuloy-tuloy na kaunlaran (Support the government. Let us also support newly elected barangay officials for progress)," Duterte said.

She urged the people to support the police and military and the educational sector and shun criminals, the New People’s Army, and illegal drugs.

During Duterte’s visit to this province, her office conducted a gift-giving activity with former Dagupan City Mayor Brian Lim, Office of the Vice President satellite office manager, that benefitted thousands – 1,500 in Binalonan, 2,500 in Urdaneta City, and 520 Persons  Deprived of Liberty at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Urdaneta. 

Five-hundred eighteen residents of Urdaneta City received P2,000 financial assistance each through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation of the Department of Social Welfare and Development
