Last July, Bolden gave the Philippines its first-ever victory in its maiden FIFA Women’s World Cup appearance by scoring on a header against tournament co-host New Zealand.

Bolden played for the Western Sydney Wanderers for one season also in the Australian women’s league but did not see action for any club prior to signing with Newcastle.
After missing five games in the ongoing season, Bolden joined the Jets in a triumphant debut.
During that time, though, Bolden focused on her national duties for the Filipinas and played in the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China followed by a stint in the second round of the AFC Women’s Qualifying Tournament.
Newcastle is currently running seventh in the league’s table.
