West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. will undergo a series of water service improvements in parts of Manila, Quezon City, and Valenzuela City.
From Nov. 27 to Dec. 4, Maynilad will conduct maintenance projects in Manila such as leak detection, pressure test, pressure-reducing valve (PRV) inspection, and decommissioning of the 750-millimeter pipe.
Meanwhile, pressure test will be done in QC to verify supply flows in certain areas. At the same time, PRV inspection will be conducted in Valenzuela to evaluate water pressure and to solve issues with the water supply.
Moreover, the concessionaire said that the decommissioning of the Manila pipe was scheduled to close down an old pipeline to give way to a newer line.
The activities would be done during the late evenings and early mornings to avoid further inconvenience to the consumers affected.
