Taguig to celebrate National Bicycle Day with 24-km bike ride
The Taguig City government is inviting residents to join a 24-km bike ride to celebrate National Bicycle Day on Nov. 26.
Under Proclamation No. 1052 signed in 2020, every fourth Sunday of November of every year is designated as National Bicycle Day.

“There is a need to highlight the importance of non-motorized transportation as a means of fostering sustainable development and promoting environmental health that is conducive to the physical health and well-being of all Filipinos,” according to the proclamation.
The National Bicycle Day will be hosted by the Taguig City government in partnership with the National Bicycle Organization and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
The community bike ride will span 24 km. and will start and end at the Taguig Lakeshore parking lot on C-6 Road.
Participants can also join the complimentary bike lessons for beginners and push bike demonstrations for kids.
The community bike ride will have an opening ceremony at 5:45 a.m. and the bike ride will start at 6:30 a.m.

3. Cayetano Blvd.
4. Bagong Calzada
5. G de Borja St
6. P. Herrera St.
7. J.P. Rizal Extension
8. Under Sta. Monica - Lawton Bridge
9. Kalayaan Ave.
10. C-5
11. East Service Road
12. General Santos Avenue
13. C-6
The city government said “all participants must maintain an average speed and following road regulations to achieve a safe and fun parade.”
