Shear line, 'amihan,' easterlies to still bring rains across PH
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Saturday, Nov. 25 said the shear line, northeast monsoon or "amihan", and the easterlies still bring rains to most parts of the country.

PAGASA said Quezon, Laguna, and Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to shear line---an area where the cold northeasterly winds and warm easterlies converge.
PAGASA warned the public of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains in the affected areas.
In Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Cagayan Valley, and Aurora, cloudy skies with light rains will be felt while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced in Metro Manila, the rest of CALABARZON and Central Luzon, and Ilocos Region due to amihan.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.
PAGASA also advised the public to be wary of flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
