Palawan State U grad tops November 2023 Civil Engineers Licensure Exam

Palawan State University (PSU) - Puerto Princesa graduate Godfrey Queron Correa got the highest score of 93.60 percent in the November 2023 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination (CELE).

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results on Saturday, Nov. 25, showing that 33.26 percent or 6,180 out of 18,582 examinees passed the CELE.
Meanwhile, Angelo Amoc Ramos of the Technological University of the Philippines- Taguig finished second with an average of 91.95 percent.
Jonas Rhein Pruelo Esguerra, from the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD), finished third with a score of 91.90 percent.
The examination was held in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Palawan.
It was facilitated by the Board of Civil Engineering headed by its chairman Praxedes P. Bernardo and members Pericles P. Dakay and Romeo A. Estañero from Nov. 17 to 18.
"The results of examination with respect to one (1) examinee were held for further verification of submitted documents and five (5) were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations," PRC said.
