The newly constructed MPD station was inaugurated on Nov. 23, which was a priority project of Nieto in 2018 when he was still a member of the House of Representatives.

The new police station was built with an elevator, an in-house firing range and a gym for the convenience of the assigned personnel in the station, and for them to be always prepared, and ready for action.

That the new building's design is a neo classical with solar panels, making it environment-friendly and energy efficient.

This is one of my projects when I was just Congressmen in the 17th Congress. The most difficult period of the pandemic had come and gone, and we will stand up even more for our mission to provide our police with a proper and modern office like this Precinct 3),” Nieto added.
