Las Piñas LGU, DTI hold financial assistance road show


The Las Piñas city government together with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Las Piñas City, Inc (PCCI -LP) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted a financial assistance roadshow on Nov. 23 for residents in need of additional capital for their businesses.

According to Mayor Imelda Aguilar, the financial assistance road show was held at the Woodlane Events Place at Zapote-Alabang Road, Talon 2, Las Piñas City from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

She said business owners can apply for Resilient, Innovative and Sustainable Enterprises (RISE) with Small Business Corporation (SBCorp) to grow their businesses.

Applicants may loan up to P20,000,000; collateral free loans of up to P5-million, payable monthly for up to two years and interest rate of less than 1.0 percent per month based on diminishing balance.

Aguilar said applicants must submit government IDs, photos of business operations and assets, barangay certificate for loans up to P100,000 or Mayor’s Permit for loans and corporate documents if applicable.
