Darren Espanto reveals real status of relationship with Cassy Legaspi

OPM singer Darren Espanto revealed that he and rumored girlfriend Cassy Legaspi are special friends.

"Napag-usapan na namin ni Cassy even before na kahit ano po ang mangyari, we're gonna be part of each other's lives in the long run," Darren explained during his guest appearance in the "Sarap Di Ba? on GMA Network recently.

Darren explained after Carmina Villaroel, host of the cooking talk show, asked the singer to explain what he meant by special friends. He said: "It's very genuine."

Cassy replied: "Naiyak naman ako."

Darren continued: "Everything's genuine, not that we're rushing anything happening. We're always there for each other's support. We would be lying if we just said we're just acquaintances."

 

 

Carmina commented on what Darren said. The veteran actress asked the male singer: "Special friends without malice or with malice?"

Darren said: "Pinagpapawisan po ako eh."

Carmina continued: "Hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit ayaw maniwala ng ibang tao that you are just friends or special friends. Parang sinasabi nila that's the usual showbiz answer na tinatago n'yo lang at secret lang."

Darren said: "It comes with our profession sa industry natin. You have to give answers at saka lagi naman nasasagot kapag tinatanong po kami. We're not hiding anything."
