Parañaque LGU distributes cash, rice to 5,000 residents

The city government of Parañaque distributed financial assistance and rice to 5,000 beneficiaries on Friday, Nov. 24, at 88 Square Mall in Barangay San Dionisio.

According to Mayor Eric Olivarez, the Card Assistance and Rice Distribution (CARD) is a project of the office of his brother, Congressman Edwin Olivarez, in coordination with the office of President Marcos, Jr. and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

Olivarez said the 5,000 beneficiaries of CARD are residents of different barangays in District 1.

He said each beneficiary received P1,050 cash assistance and 25 kilos of rice.

The mayor thanked the national government for bringing the CARD program to the city, which is a big help for the residents.
