Viva Records has emerged as the leading local record label in the country, occupying a remarkable three slots in the Top 10 of Spotify's Daily Top Songs (as of the week of Nov. 24).

This feat underscores the label's local dominance and highlights its enduring commitment to nurturing and promoting homegrown talent.

The tracks that propelled Viva Records to this chart-filling position include the No. 1 OPM band Cup Of Joe and its soulful collaboration with Janine titled "Tingin"; R&B soul solo act Cean Jr with his infectious hit "YK" (under OC Records, an affiliate label of Viva), and solo pop singer Rhodessa and her breakout hit “Kisame.”

These songs claimed the 4th, 8th, and 9th positions in the Spotify ranking, cornering a significant chunk of the Top 10 charts’ market share.

Viva Records' presence in three out of the top 10 spots is a testament to its unwavering dedication to OPM. In an era where global influences often dominate the music scene, Viva Records has proven that Philippine music continues to thrive under its expert curation.

This achievement is particularly noteworthy as it reaffirms the label's role as a key player in elevating original Pinoy music.

And the fact that these chart-topping acts—Cup Of Joe, Janine (Tenoso), Cean Jr, and Rhodessa—are young artists emphasizes Viva's commitment to shaping the future landscape of OPM.

While Viva Records is already a storied label on its own, its history dates back to its sister label, Vicor Records. Both labels' current success as top-rank music companies, with affiliates OC Records, Waybetter Music, Wild Dream Records, and newly acquired Ivory Records, is a continuation of Viva Records’ dedication to OPM and its sustained effort to propel Philippine music to new heights.
