Man, woman arrested in shabu buy-bust in Taguig

Personnel from the Taguig police’s Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a man and a woman in a buy-bust operation conducted on Nov. 23.

The two suspects, only identified by the Southern Police District (SPD) by their aliases Fatty and Benny, were nabbed in the operation on Ruby Street in Deva Village, Barangay San Miguel, Taguig.

Confiscated from them were seven plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 55 grams with a total value of P374,000.

The police also seized one genuine P500 bill used as buy-bust money, seven pieces of P1,000 bills used as boodle money, one cell phone, and one digital weighing scale.

Suspects are in the custody of the Taguig police while the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the SPD Forensic Unit for examination.
