Lee Byung-hun, Jung Yu-mi, Kim Seon-ho, Song Joong-ki win at 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards


Lee Byung-hun and Jung Yu-mi took home the main acting awards at the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards held on Nov. 24 at the KBS Hall in Seoul. 

It was hosted by actress Kim Hye-soo, who did it for the 30th and last time, and actor Yoo Yeon-seok.

“Smugglers” won best film (Filmmaker, Next Entertainment World) 

“Smugglers,” starring Kim Hye-soo, Zo In-sung, Yum Jung-ah and Park Jeong-min, won best film while the best director went to Um Tae-hwa of “Concrete Utopia.” 

Lee Byung-hun of “Concrete Utopia” took home the best actor award and announced that “actually, my second child is coming out next month.” 

“I share this honor with Lee Min-jung [wife], Lee Jun-ho [son] and Buddy who are watching at home right now,” he said. Lee Byung-hun is married to actress Lee Min-jung.  

Jung Yu-mi of “Sleep” won best actress. She starred in the show “Jinny’s Kitchen.” 

Zo In-sung bagged the best supporting actor award for “Smugglers” while Jeon Yeo-been took home the best supporting actress trophy for “Cobweb.”

Audience Choice Award for Most Popular Award - The Roundup: No Way Out 

Chung Jung-won Best Short Film - Yoo Jae-in, Ghwa the Last Name
