France will launch in the Philippines on Saturday, Nov 25, its “Make It Iconic” campaign, which aims to showcase its assets in the industrial and economic spheres, potential for innovation, and cultural and artistic vitality.
France will hold the launching on the occasion of the French Film Festival—one of its most iconic cultural events.
In launching its campaign, the French Embassy in Manila said, France aims to highlight its assets in the following:
- Economy (#ChooseFrance)
- Tourism and Gastronomy (#ExploreFrance and #TasteFrance)
- Culture, Education and Science (#ExperienceFrance), and
- Partnerships (#PartnerWithFrance)
In economy, France would like to offer its top-notch infrastructures, qualified workforce, cutting edge technologies and a business-friendly environment that makes it attractive to entrepreneurs and innovators.
“At the same time, France pays special attention to striking a balance between competitiveness and sustainibility, as its low-carbon energy consumption illustrates,” the embassy said.
In tourism and gastronomy, France would showcase its diverse travel and culinary experiences, through its rich culture, its unique landscapes and humanist spirit.
Meanwhile, in culture, education and science, France would offer its renowned and cost-efficient higher education system.
It is also home to many world-class scientists, innovators, artists and sports professionals, among others. Its multicultural environment also makes France an attractive and stimulating destination for those willing to develop their talents.
And in partnerships, France and the Philippines may collaborate as both are maritime nations of the Indo-Pacific.
“Our countries are natural partners in the fight against climate change and the protection of ocean biodiversity,” the embassy said.
It also said that making commitments with France means committing to a world “that is fairer and more sustainable and sharing solutions with a strong environmental and social impact, for the common good of humanity.”
